It's more fun in the
Philippines...?
"It's more fun in the Philippines" is this so called fun true? As we all know the Philippines has been struck by consecutive calamities and experienced issues concerning government corruption and lack of action this past years. Is it really fun in the Philippines? Because if it were our government shouldn't have said and considered the 24 journalists that were killed during Aquino's term as "not so serious". Another issue which arose this year was the Pork Barrel Scam which involved some of the officials in the government. This issue was in fact controversial considering that these officials were highly respected and looked upon is this really what our government has become a bunch of greedy and corrupt leaders who ungratefully steals ₱10 Billion from the country they pledged to serve with their lives. Even though there are some who are true to their works and words and have respect for their country they are often the ones threatened and silenced by these higher officials is this really the fun that the government says. The only fun I see is the fun they are having by slacking off and not doing anything for the betterment of the country.(http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/488567/napoles-3-senators-face-plunder-raps-over-pork-barrel-scam)
Series of calamities have also hit the Philippines this past years but so far the incidents with the most fatalities were the ones this year. The 7.2 magnitutde that struck Bohol and Cebu which left astounding damages to valuable infrastructures and beautiful tourist spots. As Filipino's we always have that feeling of necessity to help our fellow Filipino's and show our unity as different individuals that are united as one country. Another calamity also hit posterior to the 7.2 earthquake in Bohol and Cebu. It was a category 5 and one and possibly most powerful typhoon ever recorded and known to mankind. We all shown our unity as Filipino's well maybe except for a certain government official's actions briefly after Typhoon Yolanda reflected the government's lust of money. What kind of person will charge payment from the victims of the calamities themselves in exchange for the relief goods given by our fellow Filipino's.
"In the end we are still left with a question is it really more fun in The Philippines."
